Prior to Prodapt, Vedant worked at Sapient Corporation where he managed delivery teams and led sales operations for key Fortune 1000 companies. Vedant also started and ran the Jhaver Group's internal IT division and offshore software development company based in Madras.

He holds a Master of Engineering Degree in Computer Science from Cornell University, and a B.S. in Computer Science from Madras University. He is a member of the Young Presidents Organization (YPO), the Confederation of Indian Industry (CII), and the Electronics and Software Export Promotion Council (ESC).

Raghu is the COO of Prodapt and he is responsible for enhancing the Operational Excellence in each of the software, solution services delivery units of Prodapt, managing customer engagement & relationship activities, besides business development, sales and talent management.

Raghu has diverse experience spanning across operations, sales and people management in large corporations. He was the Managing Partner and Head of the US Operations of a Banking Software company (sales US&150 million) owned by Citicorp during 1996-2000, living in the US. He built the company’s entry in to the ERP practice in the US.

Prior to joining Prodapt he was the CIO & Head of Business Process Excellence with a life sciences company (Sales US $500 million, NYSE listed). He was holding executive positions in 3 other large organizations between 1983-1995 in operations area.

Among the several engagements he has led in his career spanning over 22 years, the key roles he has played leadership positions include; managing global Information Technology infrastructure and delivery system, Excellence Management, Business Process management functions and IT Governance to comply with the SOX Act, He pioneered the PoC on Grid Computing for discovery research, rolled out Asia’s largest PDA based sales force automation, and enabled COBIT/COSO framework for SOX, compliance. He also conceived, designed and executed IT enabled Service center (Shared Services Center), consolidating all the transactions of Accounts Payable, Receivable, SAP maintenance, as the back office to US / UK. He has managed IT landscapes, which includes global SAP deployment including SAP HR, MMDD/Tripos on SGI for Molecular Modeling, Clinical Trials Data Management System, eCTD/ electronic filing of ANDA to US FDA, Compound Management of Chemistry and Biology, EPM backed by Share Point portal, electronic Intellectual Property Management and vibrant intranet porting the critical sales and HR data.

He was the first to commercialize the fixed wireless corDECT technology (developed by TeNeT group, IIT-Chennai) in rural India by setting up a corDECT based ISP services in Uttaranchal, India. Also, as the Co-Founder of a niche Retail management consulting company, he designed the business processes for the world’s largest retail initiative for digital broadband.
Raghu is a trained Himalayan Rally Manager, an avid technology evaluator and a Six Sigma Master Black Belt professional. He received his Master’s Degree in Science from IIT-Roorkee and the specialized post master’s degree on Quality, Operations Research and Reliability from the Indian Statistical Institute, Calcutta.
